Dear visitor, my time has been reduced to minimum or less because of that kind of jobs, you know..., half time dealing with the computer, half time dealing with the client..., oh my. Also I've been teaching at CPA Salduie and my free time suddenly dissapeared.

But I've making some tests trying to find some concepts for a new job and would like to share my improvements with you all:

I hope you find it interesting :)

Keep coming!

Colaboración en el libro "Art of 3D toons"/"Art of 3D toons" collaboration

-ESPAÑOL-

Estimado visitante:

-ENGLISH-

Dear visitor:

Two years ago, some people and I were discussing the best method for shade eyeballs a la Pixar style, since they are famous for their character's eyes, full of personality and depth..., we discussed it in the PIXAR EYES thread in CgTalk.

I did some research on the subject and thought it needed to be ease to setup, then one user (who works at Pixar) suggested that their eyes weren't modelled but textured and gave me an idea on how to achieve that.

So I constructed an eyeball shader so it was versatile and depthness as human eyes are.

CgToolkit
owner Karim Biri told me he liked the shader so much and ask me to give him permission to publish it in his upcoming book. I agreeded and told me about the possibility to write a spcial chapter of the book explaining the "how to" of the shader, in return, he would publish some publicity of my company in the book.

Now the book is published as e-book and I'm very proud of it since Karim has let the chapter as I wrote it.

The book is "The art of 3D toons" by CgToolkit and the last chapter of the book is mine's, "The eyeball shader tutorial".

I thank Karim and all his team for this opportunity and I hope you to enjoy the book, it's a great book.

Stay tuned!
