Moto de Kaneda, nuevo avance #8 / Kaneda's bike update #8

Estimados todos:

No he puesto muchos avances esta semana sobre la moto porque me encontraba haciendo la parte más fea, poco glamurosa y desagradable de hacer..., la parte mecánica de la parte trasera.

Según el ángulo de visión ni siquiera se ve, pero como quiero hacer el modelo para poder ser versátil, va a estar entero, y eso incluye la parte trasera.

En fin, aquí está, con unos buenos materiales y texturas no quedará tan soso, os lo digo yo:

Dear visitor:

Not much updates this week, that's because I'm now modelling the least glamurous part of the bike..., the mechanical part of the rear part. It's not always visible from every point of view..., but I said I'd model the bike perfectly and I'll do so, even if it's not visible.

So here it is..., certenly, not the most beautiful part of the bike, but, what the heck:

¡Lexus terminado! / Lexus finished!

Hola queridos visitantes:

Después de un par de años de estar haciendo este coche, me he dicidido a darlo por teminado por fin.

El coche en cuestión es el "Lexus 2054" que aparece en la película "Minority Report" de Steven Spielberg. Es una escena en la cual Tom Cruise está escapando de Precrimen, porque creen que va a matar a un pobre diablo. Llega a una empresa de ensamblado de automóviles en la que hay una cinta transportadora en la que se ensamblan los Lexus 2054. Tom acaba metido dentro de uno, todo el mundo cree que ha muerto aplastado dentro, pero cuál es su sorpresa, cuando descubren en la escena que yo he recreado, que Tom está vivo dentro del coche. Arranca y escapa con él.

En la escena, el coche está siendo pintado, pero a mí me gustaba la idea de recrear el final de la escena, con el coche limpito pero con el mismo tiro de cámara.

Así es como queda el coche al final (podéis pinchar en la imagen para ver una imagen más grande):

After two years of spare work on this car, I've decided to finish it.

The "Lexus 2054" is featured in the movie "Minority Report" by Steven Spielberg.

The scene recreated comes when Tom Cruise is pursuit by Precrime's agents because they think he will kill some guy. Tom arrives to a car ensambling facility where the Lexus 2054 gets ensambled. He got trapped inside of one Lexus and, as everyone thinks, killed by the ensambling machines.

But in that scene, when the car is being painted, Tom shows he is alive and scape from the agents with the car.

I liked the car perfectly finished and painted, so I recreated the end of the scene with the almost same camera view.

So this is the final render (click on the image for larger resolution):

Estimados todos:

Me he metido un poco de caña estas navidades (apesar de tener que currar todos los días, cachis), y parece que la moto ya va tomando algo de forma, o al menos, la forma que todo el mundo conoce.

Ya sé que empezar por la parte mecánica es muy emocionante para mí, pero frustra un poco al visitante, que espera ver el carenado característico de la moto..., bueno, se acabó la espera.

Habiendo, más o menos, presentado la parte mecánica, me he atrevido, por fin, a meterle mano al exterior.

Éste es el resultado, la parte delantera:

Dear frieds:

I've been working a lot on the bike this Xmas time (although my job takes so much time also), and it seems that the bike exterior is taking shape, the shape that everybody knows at least.

Starting this bike from the inside part, the mechanical part, makes a lot of fun to me, but is quite boring for you, dear visitor, because you expect to see the bike you know, the red bike from the Akira film..., well, stop waiting my friend.

Having quite of finishing the inner part of the bike, let's see how the outer part, or the beauty part looks like, this is the front part:

Estimados todos:

Ya contaba con que las navidades son una época realmente propicia al vagueo profesional..., pero no imaginaba estar haciendo menos de lo que estoy haciendo....

En fin, he estado perfilando la parte del manilla y la tengo bastante terminada. Cuando digo terminada no es realmente eso, ahora estoy en la fase de dejar las cosas planteadas y la fase de terminar las cosas vendrá cuando esté toda la moto planteada. Creo que no me he explicado bien, pero que nadie se me enfade.

El manillar lo voy a dejar más o menos así:


También estoy empezando a plantear el cuerpo general de la moto, por ahora tengo el lateral izquierdo, donde va también el depósito del combustible que use, que no sé cuál es, pero que queda de esta guisa:

Dear friends:

I thought Xmas time would be a spare time, but I never thought I'd be doing less than this...

Well, I've been finishing the steering system. I must clarify what I mean when I say "finishing", obviously, I'm not ending the steering system now, I'm only making things look good and I'll finish the pieze when I think it definetly looks good. May my explanation is somewhat confusing, but don't blame on me for this please.

So the steering system looks like this:



I've also staring to shape the body of the bike, the left side is where the gas entrance will be, and looks like this:
